The “spinal six” is a simple and effective exercise used to reduce back pain and improve range of motion. The routine is called the “spinal six” because the spine can move six different ways. 

  • Flexion– bending forwards
  • Extension– bending backwards
  • Lateral Flexion(right & left)- bending from side to side
  • Rotation(right & left)- twisting motion
